Din Tai Fung is perhaps most renowned for its small steamed soup buns. The restaurant was ranked by The New York Times as one of the world's top 10 restaurants in 1993. In November 2009, the restaurant opened its first Hong Kong branch in Tsim Sha Tsui and was later awarded a Michelin star. In December 2010, Ding Tai Fung's second Hong Kong branch at Causeway Bay was also received a Michelin star.
