The Industrial Development Bureau of Taiwan has helped the local woodworking machinery makers form a local industry alliance named the “W-Team.”
During the team launching ceremony held in Taichung, the newly formed W-Team alliance vowed to make the local supply chain stronger, which in turn can serve to boost Taiwan’s standing as an international supplier of woodworking machinery.
Home to more than 300 companies in the industry, Taiwan is currently the world’s fourth largest exporter of woodworking machinery.
The W-Team’s goal is to strengthen the local industry’s competitiveness across the board, including aspects such as its overall image, marketing capabilities, technology, services, and designs.
