The Taiwan International Lighting Show 2015 gave an awesome show featuring illumination devices, consumer electronic products, general lighting systems, lighting maintenance products and other related products. The show was participated in by 337 exhibitors who had used a total of 898 booths for the duration of this event.
Unlike previous lighting shows, where fewer OLED forum sessions were held, OLED this year was high on its agenda. Aside from OLED technology, the show also featured other lighting applications, such as commercial lighting alliance, Industrial Technology Research Institute Green Energy and Environment Research Laboratories’ solutions, and other innovative lighting applications.
One of the highlights this year was the TILS 2015 Trade Meeting held on March 26th. More than 40 Taiwanese lighting market leaders, including RSP Rich Sphere Precision Industry Co., Ltd, Alder Optomechanical Corp, Renrgz,ALT Aeon Lighting Technology Inc., UB Leds, and Everlight Electronics, joined and presented their latest products at this event. The TILS 2015 Trade Meeting was organized by the Bureau of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) and implemented by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA).
Everlight Electronics, a leading player in the global LED and optoelectronics industry, introduced the most high-efficient/sulfur resistant ‘golden’ series, which can perform well even under severe circumstances. The series meet all demands for automotive applications. Uplight Technology Company (ULTC), which was founded in 2009, offered professional LED lighting manufacturers a complete product supply chain solution. Two new series, LED tube and LED flood light were also exhibited during this event.
TAITRA had made tremendous efforts in inviting overseas buyers to this year’s event, giving the exhibitors more opportunity to do business. A number of procurement meetings had been arranged for the Taiwanese suppliers and the 12 high-profile buyers (each having annual sales of over USD 10 million) from Germany, Spain, Poland, Russia, Turkey, Bangladesh, Bulgaria, India and Canada, resulting in nearly USD 8 million worth of business deals.
