The Nanning-Taiwan Trade Fair, the second stop for the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion in China,
will take place at the Nanning International Conference & Exhibition Center from May 29th
to June 1st. The Taiwan Excellence Pavilion will showcase the latest products that won the
2015 Taiwan Excellence Award. Many of the products displayed are also recipients of the IF
Design and Good Design awards. The Taiwan Excellence Award, a prestigious accolade granted
to outstanding products, is supported by Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs, organized
by the Bureau of Foreign Trade and implemented by the Taiwan External Trade Development
Nanning City is the main portal for trade between Southwest Asia and Mainland China. The
Taiwan Excellence Pavilion will feature over 137 consumer products of 73 brands, ranging
from green technology, sports, health, to cultural and creative products. The products all
show that Taiwanese companies are responding to the latest trends and are capable of
transferring intangible designs into practical craftsmanship. Because of Nanning’s rich
natural environment and its name meaning the “Green City”, the products introduced at the
Nanning-Taiwan Trade Fair, will be the world’s most cutting-edge and featuring the themes
The winners of the Taiwan Excellence Award are evaluated on the effort that is put into
R&D, quality, design, and marketing, with each product being made in Taiwan. TAITRA has
identified products with unprecedented innovation, especially in sports-related products
like STRIDA’s folding bike. A bicycle manufacture renowned for its triangular-designed
frames and the ability to fold within five seconds. STRIDA’s folding bike is well suited
for the daily commute or outdoor adventure. MERIDA’s Reacto is the champion of the
Switzerland Roadshow three consecutive times. Giant’s Defy Advanced SL features a
geometric design that allows for greater endurance, and being lightweight, lets the rider
to finish strong.
The world’s third largest sports equipment maker, Johnson Health Tech will also join
Taiwan Excellence Pavilion in the fair. Their John Treadmill shows the possibility of
connecting exercise with leisure, making jogging at home enjoyable.
To strengthen the image of innovalue in the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion, a multimedia area
will integrate digital clips with touch panels to provide a dynamic product guide. This
area will allow visitors to have an enjoyable, interactive experience that will lead to
greater insight into the Taiwan Excellence products.
