Under the full support of Taiwan’s Bureau of Foreign Trade, the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) is leading 12 Taiwanese prominent companies to participate at the 3rd Suifenhe International Port Trade Expo 2015 in Heilongjiang Province, China from August 8th to 11th.
The Suifenhe International Port Trade Expo offers vendors the opportunity to explore markets, including the far east of Russia and the economic region of Northeast Asia. Suifenhe City is located in the southeastern border of Heilongjiang Province. It borders Primorskij Kraj, which is the most developed region in the far east of Russia.
In response to the extension of the US and EU's sanctions against Moscow over the situation in Ukraine, Russia has extended its ban on food imports from some of the western countries longer than had been expected. The ban, which prohibits most food imports from the United States, the European Union, Australia, Canada and Norway, was expected to be prolonged for an additional six months starting from early August. Upon such a circumstance, Taiwan would be able to assist Russia in sourcing a number of products.
This year, the Taiwan Pavilion is showcasing an extensive range of products. Such popular companies as Haw-Di-I Foods, Jet Crown, Le Choix, Persnam and Sunright will be present. The size of the pavilion will take up 198 square meters, providing enough space to present a wide range of products, including snacks, coffee, meat, fish, agricultural products, bicycles, fashionable women’s bags, skin care products, and medical corrective shoe-pads. The pavilion will be located in Hall C3, booth numbers 11-33. Buyers are more than welcome to visit and sample all the delicious offerings.
