Taipei International Electronics Show set for October
The 41st Taipei International Electronics Show, TAITRONICS, jointly organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and the Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association (TEEMA), will kick off at the Nangang Exhibition Hall on October 6, 2015.
TAITRONICS 2015 is expected to attract approximately 40,000 domestic and overseas visitors, and will be joined by 450 exhibitors from countries including France, South Korea, China, the United States and Canada across 1,000 booths.
This year's show will be divided into nine exhibition areas -- Active & Passive Components; Electronic Components & Parts; Meters & Instruments; LED Lighting & Applications; Cells, Batteries & Power Supplies; Industrial Process & Automation Equipment; Smart Living & Consumer Electronics; Broadband Products & Cloud tech; and a new section called Electrical Energy.
The new section was added in view of the innovation and development of renewable energy worldwide, an increasing need for electric power equipment in emerging markets, and the efforts of international governments to promote energy conservation and green products.
Domestic brand Shihlin Electric and Japanese electronics brand NEC and IIU will be in the Electrical Energy area, showcasing the newest concepts and innovations in energy-saving and low-pollutant technology, though the use of their distribution equipment, IT and network solutions, and electronic devices.
