Quanta Computer and Cisco have teamed up to offer cloud solutions with integrated hardware and software aimed at facilitating the operations and management of health care providers.
The partnership will combine Quanta's innovative QOCA medical platform with Cisco's powerful cloud computing solutions.
Quanta Computer's QOCA medical platform was jointly developed by the company and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Now reinforced by Cisco's cloud computing solutions, the platform has become even more powerful and is already in service across several hospitals in Taiwan.
Quanta's QOCA platform has two major product lines: the QOCA SPT smart bedside caring system and the QOCA Home remote health caring system.
The QOCA SPT is already mass shipping to hospitals in China and QOCA Home is currently being adopted Taiwan's Hospital and will be pushing into China.
Sharing his own conservative outlook of the global IT market in the third quarter, Quanta chief Barry Lam expressed confidence in his company's ability to achieve sustained growths in the long term.
Lam cited Quanta's investment and success in the fields of cloud, IoT, and wearables, which will continue to flourish into the future.
