Taiwan's Precision Machinery Research & Development Center (PMC) will be the host of the intelligent machine tool forum at the 14th International Federation for the Promotion of Mechanism and Machine Science World Congress (2015 IFToMM World Congress) in Taipei.
To be held at the Taipei International Convention Center on October 28, 2015, the forum on intelligent machine tools hosted by PMC will feature a keynote on humanoid robotics by Prof. Masayuki Inaba. The forum will cover the topics of design methodology, computational kinematics, machinery dynamics, gearing and transmissions, rotor dynamics, multibody dynamics, linkage and mechanical controls, the history of MMSI, sustainable energy systems, and robotic mechanism design.
PMC is a leading non-profit organization based in Taiwan. The organization is specialized in the research and development of mechanical, electrical, and control engineering technologies, as well as information technology and management.
IFToMM was founded in Poland in 1969, and has been serving as one of the world's leading platforms for academics, researchers, and industrialist worldwide, to exchange ideas and build collaborations. The once every four year event brings the participants up to date with the latest technological trends, and motivates students and young scientists in the fields of mechanism and machine science.
