Now, PFI is to launch its own “Atempo” brand and compete head on with the big names that have long since dominated the market. PFI plans to enter China’s local sporting goods retail channels in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, and then gradually go south-east into second tier cities such as Chongqing and Chengdu. PFI indicated it may establish partnerships with bicycle retailers since its products go hand-in-hand with bicycle sales.
