According to MSC, the system can prolong the life of an average lead-acid battery by as much as 75%. By extending the life of lead-acid batteries, the system can help save on the cost of getting a new battery while lessening impact on the environment.
The system has been applied by major Taiwanese telecommunication providers (Chunghwa Telecom, Taiwan Mobile) to prolong the battery life of forklifts, telecommunication signal towers, electric scooters, golf carts, and other battery-powered equipment and facilities.
MCS has reportedly helped its customers save up to 70% in battery replacement costs. The technology has also contributed to the reduction of improper handling of lead-acid batteries, which can pose serious dangers to the environment if left exposed.
