The competitions in the Chinese fitness equipment market have become internationalized. The competitions among top brands have gradually been raised from the level of shop-to-shop to capital manipulation, brand expansion, and management operation.

At present, there are several sales channels of China’s fitness equipment. The main clients of commercial fitness equipment are hotels, clubs, and social salons. The primary sales method is by contacting clients directly. Setting up commercial exhibition ground is very rare. The sales channels of home fitness equipment include counters in shopping centers, specialty stores, sporting goods markets, etc. The companies that have set up counters in shopping centers in China are mostly of strong, influential brands that do direct sales, such as Johnson, Sanhesonghsi, Goodfamily, ICON, etc.
