Entrusted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Taiwan (MOFA), the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), Taiwan’s foremost trade promotion organization, is pleased at the success of the annual International Security & Fire Exhibition 2015 (ISAF 2015) that was held in Istanbul.
From the 17th to the 20th of September at the Istanbul Fuar Merkezi (Istanbul Expo Center) / CNR Expo -Turkey, 20 dynamic enterprises from Taiwan showcased their latest products and developed potential partnerships with various businesses in the region. This event not only provided local enterprises the unique opportunity of meeting Taiwanese delegates in person for discussion on possible business cooperation, but also served as an ideal opportunity to establish closer trade ties between Taiwan and other countries in the region.
The trade volume between Taiwan and Turkey increased to US $1.9 billion in 2014, compared to its figure of US $1.8 billion in 2013. The bilateral trade between Taiwan and Turkey is expected to grow further in the coming years.
The Taiwanese enterprises of the delegation came from a number of industries and showcased IP cameras; NVRs; panoramic cameras; video analytics perimeter security systems; tablets and security systems with IP cameras; tablet power management and smart chargers; PTZ IR dome cameras; outdoor CCTV cameras; a variety of networking solutions; large scale IP camera solutions; professional-grade network recorders and central management software; GPS vehicle tracking systems; mobile DVRs; wireless vital sign sensors; industrial media converters; load balance VPN routers; IP HDMI TX/RXs; surge protectors; solar powered PoE switches; wired security alarm systems; microprocessor control panels; glass-break sensors; ECOA smart home systems; eco-elephant fire extinguishers; ASP safety guard rails; construction boards; USB RFID reader/writers; batons and handcuffs.
According to the statistics provided by the exhibitors at the Taiwan Pavilion, 826 buyers visited. In addition to the success at the pavilion and the EXPO TAIWAN in Istanbul, US $66 million was generated in trade. The exhibitors were 85% pleased with the results from the show and want to participate next year.
