CeBit 2015, which is one of the most influential and large-scale ICT industry events this year, was held on March 16th at Hannover Messe Exhibition Centre. This year’s highlights focused on “d!conomy”, showcasing how enterprises solve problems under the internet era.

Alibaba founder and CEO Jack Ma gave an opening speech, which was greeted with a big applause from the audience.

Big data and cloud is one of the market trends this year. By means of data mining and computing, valuable assets could be produced and utilized.

Digital Transformation is driving various industries to pay more attention to the importance of internet connectivity. However, this is causing traditional automotive and industrial automation firms to bear more pressures.

IOT and mobile technology at the same time are transforming people’s lives. Using RFID, microcomputer and low-cost sensors, combining with social media like Facebook, is helping enterprises transform.

As the social business model gradually evolves, data security is becoming an issue, posting a challenge to business as a whole.

Meanwhile, Taitra led 18 excellent suppliers from Taiwan, showcasing the latest Taiwan innovations at CeBit 2015. In meeting the trend in IOT, the Taiwan Pavilion focused more on internet communication and total solutions.

Lightspeed International Co. showcased its 4G router while Systems and Technology Corp. exhibited tracking solutions and tracking software. Penpower Co. presented its creative business card scanner with a lighting and tilting open entry design. The entry design allows the user to put business cards into the scanner at a proper angle and scan the information easily and intuitively. After precise recognition, the information on the business card will immediately transfer into personal social network databases.
The Taiwan Pavilion had attracted wide attention and gained positive results during the five-day event.
