Taiwan ran three hi tech shows from July 22 to 25, 2015 at the Myanmar Event Park, Yangon aimed at helping this nation to become part of the prospering Asian community. This 3-in-1 Expo consisted of 2015 AUTO EXPO Myanmar, MIMT and POWER Myanmar and attracted more than 4,338 visitors from 15 countries. It opened fresh vision to hundreds of start-ups and SMEs - and now ranks among Myanmar’s largest B2B platforms! .
This 3-in-1 Expo complemented the new ASEAN Economic Community by joining the best tech of 12 countries through 130 exhibitors from Germany, UK, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand and Taiwan. And more good news came during this time when Myanmar opened its first official representative office in Taipei, Taiwan.
Win-win face-to-face match-making meeting arrangements were an exclusive service at the Expo. The show hosted 957 1-on-1 meetings which generated a projected US$ 17 million in procurement orders. Myanmar's major auto parts importer Kyaw and Son as well as famous local tyre maker MEC both joined the 1-on-1 meetings and highly praised their results.
Since 2013 these events have helped bridge the latest auto parts with a nation that’s rapidly catching up to Asia’s dazzling growth and prosperity.
