TAITRA, commissioned by the Bureau of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Economic Affairs of Taiwan to execute “Taiwan Industry Image Enhancement Project (IEP)”, will tour nationwide and hold 5 experience-sharing sessions on "Global Marketing Strategy-Tips & Guidelines ", beginning in late February 2015.
The first session is scheduled for February 26th at the Taipei International Convention Center. TAITRA’s President & CEO, Mr. Peter W.J. Huang, and the Deputy Director General of the Bureau of Foreign Trade, Mr. David Hsu will provide the opening remarks. The Director of the Strategic Marketing Department of TAITRA, Mr. Ying-Hsien Chen, will follow with an outline of this year’s Taiwan Industry Image Enhancement Project’s events in the EU, US, Japan, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Myanmar, China, Brazil, Mexico, Egypt, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates as well as in Taiwan.
TAITRA has arranged experts and Taiwan Excellence Award winning companies to share their insight and experience in branding and marketing overseas. The Taiwanese brand development expert, Mr. Han-Shou Tseng , will present on the topic "B2C/B2B Strategic Brand Value from Taiwan Excellence”. The Taiwan Foreign Correspondent Club 2014 President, Ms. Victoria Jen, will cover the topic of "News Operations and Marketing Issues". Senao’s International Continental Division General Manager, Mr. Wu-Hsiung Huang, will present "Strategy on Developing Sales Channels in the Mainland Chinese Market (brick & mortar and online)". The Taiwan Excellence Award winning companies, Karma and Sakura, will also share their successful experiences of expanding sales in emerging markets during the period of their participation in the Taiwan Industry Image Enhancement Project (IEP).
Companies from central and southern Taiwan can also participate in "2015 Global
Marketing Strategy-Tips & Guidelines "event, as TAITRA will hold sessions on March 2nd in Kaohsiung, March 5th in Taichung, March 6th in Tainan and March 9th in Hsinchu. Each session will be held at TAITRA’s branch offices.
