This is the seventh consecutive year that the Bureau of Trade has hosted this activity which is executed by TAITRA. TAITRA will set up a 2,550 square meter “Taiwan Pavilion” at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center Hall No.2, and plan the “Brand Boutique area”, “Aesthetic Craft area”, “Creative Design area” and “Educational toy area”. The enriched content and innovative value of Taiwanese cultural creativity will be exhibited to the world through the Chinese (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industry Fair.
Chinese (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industry Fair is the only national, international and comprehensive fair for cultural and creative industry in mainland China. At the same time, it is the only comprehensive cultural industry trade fair in China recognized by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI). It is also listed as one of the important exhibitions supported by the Chinese government, as crucial as the Beijing Olympics in 2008 and the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai. The Chinese (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industry Fair is the stage to exhibit Chinese cultural industry capabilities. It is also the most resourceful, complete, and large-scale cultural products and service exports platform.
Since Taiwan participated in the Chinese (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industry Fair in 2009, the Taiwan Pavilion has attracted huge crowds with our high quality art crafts and creatively designed products. A number of media outlets have been falling over each other to report on the event, with large distributers and buyers coming for business matching. The Taiwan Pavilion is also the must-visit area for the high-ranking Chinese officials, which raises the prestige of Taiwan’s cultural and creative products. Thus, we expect to promote the actual innovation strength for the Taiwanese cultural and creative industries via this international platform. Furthermore, through participating in the fair, we hope to facilitate bilateral cooperation and interaction of the cultural and creative industries between Taiwan and China, creating tremendous business opportunities in the Chinese market with cultural and racial similarities to Taiwan.
This exhibiting group welcomes the cultural and creative promotional organizations and companies of Taiwan to participate in the Chinese (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industry Fair, to showcase the diverse quality of Taiwan’s creative culture.
